AN under-10s football team have won a national competition for a spectacular goal.
Hove Park Colts Football Club took part in the KickItToWinIt competition by car leasers Leasing.com and received a visit from the company with the English Football League (EFL) trophy on Sunday.
The KickItToWinIt competition requires teams to post videos of a goal they are proud of on Twitter.
Di Coke’s son Ryland scored one of the winning goals in the competition, and the pair have won tickets to see Portsmouth play Salford City in the EFL final at Wembley in April.
She said: “It is brilliant for Hove Park Club to have the EFL trophy here, and it certainly adds some more excitement to Sunday league matchday.
“Ryland and I are really looking forward to the final.”
