CHILDREN are invited to attend an Albion game free in a bid to get more youngsters interested in women’s football.

Albion women play Bristol City at the People’s Pension Stadium in Crawley on March 29.

Under 18s will get free entry and those aged between seven and 12 will be in with a chance of walking out with the teams as a mascot.

There will also be activities in the fan zone including face painting and a free photo booth.

A spokesman for the Albion said: “Thanks to women’s team sleeve sponsors SnickersUK.com, all supporters under the age of 18 will be able to claim a complimentary ticket for the match when done so in advance of the game.

“And that’s not all, every supporter will be handed a raffle ticket on entry to the stadium to be entered into a prize draw to win various prizes including a signed shirt, signed ball and hospitality prizes for both a women’s fixture at Crawley and a men’s team game at the Amex.

“All under-18 WSL season-ticket holders will also be entered into the draw.

“It promises to be a great family day out with plenty of activities happening on the day.”

SnickersUK.com is trying to get more children interested in the women’s game, especially girls.
