A PRODUCTION has been named for Pride’s Big Top.

Pride in the Park is being held on Saturday, August 1 and Glitterbox are set to host Preston Park’s “Big Top”.

Artists such as Joey Negro, Artwork, Simon Dunmore, Melvo Baptiste, Fat Tony, Hifi Sean and Seamus Haji set set to perform.

A spokesman for Brighton Pride said: “The Pride Dance Big Top is the pulsing heart of the Pride Festival and we are thrilled to join forces with the powerhouse that is the Glitterbox phenomenon with its world-class production that has been celebrated by everyone from Ibiza to New York and is designed to unite all ages, persuasions and walks of life on the dancefloor.”

This year is the is the 30th anniversary of Brighton and Hove Pride.

Mariah Carey has been named as Saturday’s headline.

The Pussycat Dolls are headlining on Sunday.

The spokesman added: “Pride is a celebration of how far we have come but it is also an ongoing campaign for those marginalised communities at home and abroad who still suffer persecution on a daily basis.

“Our fundraising events will ensure that we continue to raise vital funds for our local LGBTQ+ and community projects.”
