AN ARTIST is holding an auction to help the homeless.

Street art pioneer Grant Dejonge is holding a sale of his work and half the proceeds will go towards Brighton and Hove charity Knight Support, which works with rough sleepers.

Best known for his impressionistic landscapes of the South Downs, Grant’s work adorns the walls of many a stately home across Sussex and beyond.

Grant, 51, of Plumpton is most famous for his mural of a child sleeping on a park bench in the North Laine.

The works will be on sale at the Half Moon pub in Plumpton from noon on Saturday.
