AN INQUEST will be held into the death of an electrician.

Lewis Hicks, who was also a plumber, painter and decorator and railway enthusiast, was found dead in his home in Ventnor Villas, Hove in November last year.

An inquest will be heard tomorrow (Wednesday)to try to find the cause of his death.

His funeral is due to be held at Woodvale, Brighton, on Friday at 12.30pm.

Lewis was born in Plymouth and later lived in Shropshire. He moved to Hove in the early 1980s and made it his home, meeting and marrying his second wife, Hsui Lan Yen, who took the English name of Pamela.

Pamela died in 2014 from a heart attack.

Lewis, a skilled tradesman worked on many properties in the area and spent time as an engineering technician and evening lecturer at Brighton College.

He was a maintenance electrician for Jurys Inn and was a team leader on the stripping of Shoreham Power Station B before it was finally blown up.
