MARK HATHERILLO

Aged 38, of no fixed address, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order by contacting a woman in Hove. Fined £100.

CHRISTOPHER TAYLOR

Aged 43, of St Catherines Terrace, Hove, found guilty of assaulting a police officer. Ordered to complete 20 rehabilitation sessions, with a £90 surcharge and £100 costs.

DEREK GUNN

Aged 51, of Abbott Court, Worthing, admitted breaching a restraining order. Given a six-month suspended prison sentence, with 40 hours of unpaid work, a £122 surcharge and £85 costs.

MICHAEL HOPE

Aged 36, of Wallace Avenue, Worthing, found guilty of damaging a man’s van to the value of £1,050 and using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Put under curfew for two weeks, with ten rehabilitation sessions, and £801 compensation. Put under restraining order until 2025.

GARY SCHNEIDER

Aged 32, of Eaton Gardens, Hove, admitted speeding in a Volkswagen on the A259 Marine Parade. Fined £440, with a £44 surcharge and £85 costs.

JESSICA STOCK

Aged 31, of Islingword Road, Brighton, admitted speeding in a Volkswagen in Bexhill. Fined £220, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to her licence.

GEORGE WILKINS

Aged 24, of St John’s Road, Hove, guilty of failing to identify the driver of a Mercedes suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Six points added to his licence.

KIBRIYA BEGUM

Aged 42, of Stanford Avenue, Brighton, admitted speeding in a Mercedes in Old Shoreham Road. Fined £440, with a £44 surcharge and £85 costs. Five points added to her licence.

JOSHUA DOCHERTY

Aged 27, of Telscombe Cliffs Way, Peacehaven, admitted speeding on the A259 Marine Parade in a Renault. Fined £133, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned for six months.

ZACHARY HUCKSTEP

Aged 44, of Pelham Road, Seaford, admitted speeding in a Peugeot on the A259. Given a conditional discharge with a £20 surcharge. No ban under totting up as he would lose his job.
