OFFICERS searching for a missing man in Bournemouth are appealing for help from the public to find him.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.39am this morning, raising concern for the welfare of 18-year-old Sam McNicholas, who was last seen in in the East Way area around 9.10am.
Chief Inspector Steve Yeoman said: “We are concerned for Sam’s welfare as it is understood he has been upset recently and we are currently carrying out searches in the local area.
“I would urge anyone with information as to Sam’s whereabouts, or who sees someone matching the description given to please contact us.
“I would also make a direct plea to Sam if you see this to please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are so we can make sure you are all right.”
He is described as white, five feet nine inches tall, of slim build and with dark blond hair.
He was wearing grey blazer and trousers, a white shirt, a tie and was carrying a black backpack.
