MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to complete unpaid work over the suffering of his dogs.

Connor Padginton, 23, was found guilty of breaching the Animal Welfare Act in Bracklesham Bay.

It concerned a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Belgian Malinois which had not been protected from pain, injury, suffering or disease, Brighton Magistrates’ Court heard.

Padginton, of Silver Way, Bracklesham, must complete 80 hours of unpaid work, with a £90 surcharge and £750 costs.
