POLICE have appealed for information after a man broke the rear window of a car by punching it.

The unattended car was in Fitzworth Avenue car park at the time.

Two men and a dog entered the car park around 6.45pm on Saturday, February 29. One of them damaged the window. He also punched another car's rear window but failed to cause any damage.

One of the men wore a red-hooded top, a black baseball cap with a white logo and black trousers. He was carrying a dark-coloured shoulder bag.

The second man had short dark hair and was wearing a green jacket with dark-coloured trousers and light-coloured shoes.

The dog is believed to be a German Shepherd-type breed with sandy and black colouring.
