THE number of Brighton and Hove cases of Covid-19 has risen to 11.
Public Health England announced the increase this afternoon as Prime Minster Boris Johnson pledged schools would shut on Friday.
The health authority said East Sussex has nine cases – one more case than yesterday – and West Sussex has ten, which is no change.

The Department of Health and Social Care said coronavirus cases have hit 2,626 in Britain.
One of the 104 people who have now died of the disease was 75-year old patient in Eastbourne.
The man, who has underlying health conditions and a recent history of travel abroad, is the first person to die from the virus in Sussex.
