WITH scenes of panic buying and supermarkets having empty shelves, we asked Argus readers how many toilet rolls they had in their home.

Here’s what you said on Facebook:

Maria Desantis: "I don’t have much. Luckily here in Italy you can still find it normally, and we are in quarantine so you only go out maybe once a week shopping."

Daz Berkshire: "I have half a roll. Think I'll be going into the garden and collecting leaves soon!"

Nicky Miles: "It took 3 days of running around shops and only got a 9 pack and have 2 people with tummy issues and have autism, Nah Deb 8 but that's my usual stock! I dread to think what is going to happen to the drainage with what people will be flushing due to the panic buyers!"

Amy Ridpath: "I have a 24 pack I bought a while ago. I tend to do my basics shop at the start of the month anyway. Just to make sure me and the kids have enough to last the month (Definitely wont be possible to do for the foreseeable future though)."

Julian Mitchell: "I have 1 roll left and haven't been able to buy anymore for over a week. But I have kitchen towel saved!"

Tina Hambly: "Try ebay £27.99 for 9 rolls, ebay should be ashamed allowing this and the person selling named and shamed! Greedy selfish people."

Freddy Apollo: "Haven't had loo roll for a week but made do with baby wipes. It's all that was left."

Catherine Grobler: "I own enough because I have always bought online in bulk, given that supermarkets are overpriced."

April Tucknott: "16. Left from a 24 pack bought over 2 weeks ago. I only do a monthly shop."

Annie France: "16 because I ordered a pack of 4 and my sainsbury's substitute was a pack of 16."

Allison Brett: "None!!!"
