FORMER Albion captain Bruno is leading the way in supporting local businesses.
The fan favourite has pledged to make a series of donations to his favourite shops and cafes when they reopen. This follows many retail and hospitality businesses being ordered to close by the Government to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The Spaniard said: “I’m counting the money I would spend in small coffee shops and restaurants where I’d normally go.
“When things go back to normal, I am going to go and give the money to them.”
- The coronavirus Sussex Crisis Fund has been set up to help those affected by the pandemic. The Argus’s charity and American Express have each donated £50,000 to kick-start the appeal.
