BRIGHTON’S famous pebbles feature in a new book.

Author Bella Osborne’s latest novel is set in the city – and she says the place was her inspiration.

Meet Me At Pebble Beach will be published in May.

Bella said “I’ve always loved the seaside and when I was researching where to base the story, Brighton immediately popped into my mind.

“It is a unique town from its beautiful Regency architecture to its pebble beaches.

“I decided to visit and that secured it in my mind as the place where [character] Regan lived.

“I found I was drawn to what remains of the West Pier and this features in the book, as does the open market and library.”

On publication day, May 28, Bella will be at the Brighton Open Market to celebrate.

Meet Me At Pebble Beach was originally published as a four-part serial. This is the complete story in one package.

Regan is holding a winning lottery ticket so it’s goodbye to the boyfriend who never had her back and so long to the job she can’t stand.

Except it’s all a bit too good to be true.

When Regan gets pranked with a fake lottery ticket, she finds herself jobless, homeless and boyfriendless in one fell swoop.

But losing everything is a chance to find out what really matters in life.

And with her friendly seaside community showing her you can rely on the kindness of strangers this could be the new start she’s needed for a long time.
