POLICE are hunting for a pair of crooks convicted of robbing a man with disabilities.
The Brighton duo are on the run after being found guilty of a series of crimes in October last year.
As well as the robbery, Kirsty Norris, 32, and David Mercer, 25, both of Queensway, were also found guilty of five counts of fraud during their court appearance.
This sentence was suspended for two years.
But, following the Solicitor General’s intervention, the Court of Appeal increased their sentences to three years in jail starting immediately.
The serial fraudsters were ordered to hand themselves in to police by 6pm on March 12, but they failed to do this.
Sussex Police have now launched an appeal to find the two crooks.
The force said that Norris has a medical condition and officers are “concerned that she may be in need of urgent medical care”.
A spokesman said: “Anyone who sees them or knows of their whereabouts is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 644 of 16/10/18.”
