POLICE are hunting a motorist who hit a 65-year-old woman and then drove away.
The incident happened at the junction of Milner Road and Buller Road in Brighton at about 6.45pm on March 15.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital where she remained overnight with minor injuries before being discharged.
Sussex Police have only just released details of the incident.
They said the car involved was “a red Nissan” which is “thought to be an SUV or 4x4”.
A police spokesman said: “Anyone who witnessed what happened, or is able to provide any information, is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 994 of 15/03.”
