ISOLATING Albion stars have collaborated to create a video which asks fans to stay at home.

This comes in response to government orders issued earlier this week which asked people to only leave their homes for essential trips as authorities attempt to limit the impact of coronavirus on the UK.

Albion players including Lewis Dunk, Bernardo, Leandro Trossard, Aaron Mooy, Pascal Gross and more filmed a series of short clips urging viewers to stay at home- with many of the players opting to share the message in their native language.

A video of all the individual messages cut together was shared by defender Shane  Duffy on social media shortly after midday, and has already been watched more than 3,900 times.

Albion players are currently following the advice to stay at home, with the Premier League suspended until April 30. Organisers have drawn up plans to resume the competition on June 1, the Metro reports.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson issued a statement on the latest advice on Monday, addressing the nation in a televised statement.

Mr Johnson said that residents will only be allowed to leave their homes for shopping for basic necessities – as infrequently as possible.

One form of exercise a day will be allowed – for example a run, walk or cycle – alone or with members of your household, while those with any medical need or anyone providing care or helping a vulnerable person.

Travelling to and from work will be permitted, but only when absolutely absolutely necessary and work cannot be done from home.

Anyone who is not following the rules could be fined, Mr Johnson said, while police will have powers to disperse gatherings.

Although parks will remain open for exercise, gatherings will be dispersed.
