Coronavirus: Sussex Covid-19 cases rise
THE number of Sussex coronavirus cases increased again yesterday.
There have now been 190 cases overall in the county.
This comes as the national figure climbed by than 2,441, reaching 19,522.
Of those patients who have been taken to hospital after contracting coronavirus, 1,228 have died, according to Public Health England figures.
The total number of people diagnosed with the virus in Brighton and Hove remained at 33
The number of cases in East Sussex climbed from 43 to 44, while West Sussex's total increased from 110 to 113.
- The coronavirus Sussex Crisis Fund has been set up to help those affected by the pandemic. The Argus’s charity and American Express have each donated £50,000 to kick-start the appeal.
