AN environmentally friendly delivery company is offering its services to businesses and the public to help those in need during the coronavirus crisis.

Zedify, which uses bikes, trikes and electric vans to deliver goods all over Brighton and Hove and other cities across the UK with zero carbon emissions, has opened up its services to those with critical delivery needs.

The company is appealing to any business which needs help to deliver items to customers who cannot access their stores, such as food, medicines and other essentials.

Shops and other organisations can make bookings for deliveries online, which can be managed by one of the Zedify riders.

Unlike many other delivery companies, all staff are employed and receive statutory sick pay as a minimum, and the company is making sure that only those who are fit and well are out doing deliveries.

With the introduction of a no-contact policy, staff are leaving boxes on household doorsteps before knocking and stepping back two metres to maintain social distancing.

Vehicles and devices used to track deliveries are also being regularly sanitised and riders are washing their hands and carrying alcohol wipes while out on the road.

To get in touch with Zedify, call their Brighton office on 01273 921936.
