BRITISH Airways has axed all of its Gatwick flights until further notice as airlines are hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
The airline said the “challenging environment” meant it would suspend all flights to and from the Crawley airport temporarily.
The move came hours after easyJet grounded its entire UK fleet, including all Gatwick jets.
Tomorrow the airport’s North Terminal will close for at least a month until the market improves.
