Police search for wanted burglary and theft suspect who is on the run
POLICE are hunting for a wanted burglary and theft suspect.
Charles Wakeford is on the run for a range of offences, mostly in Chichester.
The 23-year-old, of no fixed address, is understood to have been in a road crash in Stame Road on August 31.
A Volkswagen Gold drove off and did not stop at the scene of the crash.
Meanwhile Wakeford is wanted for breaching a court order for failing to comply with the probation service following a conviction for stealing gas cannisters.
Officers also want to speak to him about a house burglary in Chichester on December 31
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to report online or call 101, quoting serial 2 of 31/08.
