POLICE have issued a public appeal to find a teenager who has gone missing for two days.

Aaliyah Dahir, 14, went missing from her home in Brighton on March 30.

Police believe she may have connections to the South London area.

In a statement the force said: "Concern is growing for Aaliyah Dahir, 14, who has not been seen since she left home in Brighton on Monday 30 March and may be in South London, in particular in the Lambeth and Croydon areas. 

"She is 5'6", of slim build, with black hair worn in a bun and has a small nose piercing. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey leggings, and grey trainers.

"Officers have been making extensive enquiries throughout Brighton and South London, and do not yet know where Aaliyah is.

"Anyone who sees Aaliyah or has any other information on where she may be, is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting serial 1298 of 30/03."
