A CAR parts distributor is advising drivers to take extra care of vehicles which may be unused during the coronavirus lockdown.
Euro Car Parts has put together a list of tips to care for cars when they are off road for longer periods.
Drivers are advised to park in a damp-free environment or use a car cover to protect it from bad weather.
Keeping the fuel tank as full as possible can prevent rust and engine fluids such as coolant can prevent the engine freezing.
Driving the car or starting the engine for 15 minutes every two weeks will prevent the battery going flat and will help to lubricate the engine.
