The scene at Clifton Road, Worthing
POLICE are investigating after a woman was taken to hospital in a suspected attack.
Emergency services were called to a block of flats at Clifton Road, Worthing at 5.50pm on Thursday.
Neighbours saw an ambulance, police cars and a fire engine at the scene.
A 45-year-old woman suffered injuries to her pelvis. Meanwhile a 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Police said the man was interviewed in connection with the incident, and was released under investigation
