A GOGGLEBOX star had fans of the show in stitches as he trained his pet dogs to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Brighton barber Stephen Webb used treats to persuade his prized pooches - Betsy, Babs and Princess - to keep their distance from one another on the Channel 4 show last night.
After watching a string of programmes which discussed coronavirus and the resulting UK-wide lockdown, he encouraged the dogs to sit at regular intervals along his sofa - with mixed degrees of success.
But, despite doubting shouts of "they don't understand social distancing" from his husband Daniel Lustig, he managed it in the end.
Stephen celebrated by giving treats to all three dogs, as well as receiving a high five from his star performer, the impeccably trained Betsy.
Stephen and Daniel own the Lustig and Webb hair salon in Hurstpierpoint.
The loved-up couple wed in 2018 and jetted to Africa to renew their vows in December last year in a stunning ceremony.
But the story of how they met, seven years ago at Hove Town Hall, is not your classic tale of blossoming romance.
Stephen said: "We were both in the queue to purchase parking permits."
They were engaged three years later, and originally tied the knot at Chateau de Lisse in Lot-et-Garonne in France, and have been a regular fixture on Gogglebox for several years.
Stephen said: "Being part of Gogglebox is amazing, especially now I’m doing it with my husband."
