ARMED police swooped on an address over reports of a gunman.
Officers went to South Road in Haywards Heath town centre at 9.20pm on Monday.
Neighbours saw police cars sealing off the area as an address was searched. The force said a “number of firearms” were removed from an address.
A 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm otherwise than in accordance with a licence and was held in custody.
