THE highly-anticipated new show by multi-award-winning Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert in Eastbourne has been postponed from 13 June 13 to November 20.
Original ticketholders have had their bookings automatically transferred to the new date, and will just need to produce their original tickets on the night.
Rhod’s brand new live show The Book Of John sees him storm back to the stage with his trademark volcanic delivery and is sure to be a dazzlingly funny night out.
In a seven-year break from stand-up, a lot has happened to Rhod. Just when he thought he’d hit rock bottom, he met a bloke called John. Gilbert has had a terrible time of late, losing his mother to Alzheimer’s, suffering a small stroke, struggling with infertility, all heavy going material for a Saturday night, but not in Gilbert’s clever comic hands.
The show will now take place at the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne on November 20 at 8pm.
Tickets are £29.50. Visit eastbournetheatres.co.uk for details.
