This undisputed drum 'n' bass legend will be delivering an exclusive freestyle set, veering from dubstep to breaks to d'n'b and everything in between.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that he's willing to mix things up in his sets. DJ Zinc puts out breaks tunes as Jammin and his 138 Trek single was a hit on the garage scene.

His first album, Faster, displayed the same variety. Living up to its name, the tracks' tempo increases as the record progresses, moving from full-on d'n'b to downtempo, jazzy tracks.

In terms of mainstream success, he has still to match his solo debut Super Sharp Shooter, which was a crossover anthem back in 1995.

His rise from pirate radio to Fabric has been achieved without any fanfare on his part. "I don't want people to recognise me," says the unassuming DJ/ producer.

"Only people who go to clubs and see me DJing will have any idea what I look like. I love what I do. I did it as a hobby for years and now I get paid to do the same thing without having to compromise at all.

"I'm the luckiest person I know."
