The crash happened in Woodingdean, where a 79-year-old man sadly died days later in hospital
A PENSIONER died after a car crash on a busy road.
Emergency services were called to Falmer Road in Woodingdean near the Downs Hotel on April 15.
A single vehicle was involved in a crash, and the B2123 was shut between 11.30am and 3.45pm.
The air ambulance was scrambled, but the patient was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
But police say a 79-year-old man from Brighton was taken to hospital where he sadly died on Saturday.
