A TEENAGER was assaulted as he walked with his family.
The 16-year-old was with his mother and sister in Brighton Road, Lewes at 11.45am on April 29.
They passed another family including a man, woman, a girl and a boy between the junctions with Houndean Rise and Southdown Avenue.
Police said there was a row between the families, and believe the man attacked the 16-year-old boy. The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, with brown hair, wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt.
Meanwhile the woman he was with is also in her 30s with brown hair tied in a ponytail, of medium build and wore glasses, a black top and blue shorts.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward, including the driver and passenger of a Vauxhall that stopped in the road. Call 101 and quote 1320 of 19/04.
