NOT even a month-long fight with a violent bout of coronavirus could keep one nurse from wanting to return to work.
Uma Pradhan spent 30 days being treated at the Conquest Hospital in St Leonards. Most of this time was spent in intensive care.
She was met with rapturous applause from colleagues as she was discharged from the unit last week. Now, she has finally been reunited with her family after a further week of recovery at the hospital.
Uma said: “I am really happy and excited to see my family after a long time.
“From the bottom of my heart, I would like to give thanks to each and every person.
“This is my hospital and I am proud of this hospital and hopefully I will recover fully soon and I will come back to help Covid patients as well.”
