MICHAEL Buble has had to cancel a string of shows as he “didn’t feel it was safe” to tour this year.

The Feeling Good singer made the announcement during a Facebook Live broadcast to fans on Friday.

But he also said he “could not tell you how I excited I am” as he revealed a string of shows would be rescheduled to take place in February and March 2021.

The Grammy award-winning crooner had been set to take the stage at the Central County Cricket ground in Hove on August 7, but now followers will have to wait at least another six months before they have the chance to hear his silky vocals.

During the announcement on Friday, Mr Buble said: “Here’s the deal, I’m really proud of my team.

“With all that has been going on, logistically, it’s been a nightmare for everybody.

“I didn’t feel it was safe for you, and for me, to tour this year. So, I can’t tell you how excited I am that I get to announce today that I’m rescheduling all of my shows for February and March 2021.

“I’m coming, I will be there and you will get all the information by Wednesday.”

He continued: “I can’t tell you how excited I am and what it means to me that we can come together in February and March and we can be reunited - and it’s going to feel so good.

“We get to be together - to sing, cry and laugh together.”
