THE big problem with the FA is that they are more concerned with money than with health.
By trying to restart football far too early they are increasing the risk to every one of us. I could understand that if the return was to be the full programme of matches home and away with the fans all there supporting their teams.
To have ghost matches behind closed doors at neutral venues is not football. The results of the matches will not be the same due to the lack of atmosphere and the home and away aspect being nullified. This is all being contrived so the FA still get their millions from the TV companies.
As things stand at the moment this virus may well be having an effect on the playing of all sports well into next season. Social distancing rules stop large gatherings.
Maybe the FA could explain to me how the players can mark each other throughout the game, particularly at corners. Even with lots of testing there is still the possibility the players could be taking the virus home to their families.
To my mind the FA should be putting all their efforts into trying to get things ready for next season without running the risk of causing a second pandemic surge.
