A BRAZEN shoplifter stole alcohol from two stores and was also convicted ofattacking supermarket staff.
Lisa Grimwood stole from the Tesco supermarket in Station Road in Portslade during the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She took £354 worth of goods.
Then at Morrisons in St James’s Street, Brighton, she stole alcohol and attacked staff members.
The staff members were Ben Naceur, Claire Adaway, and Sayed Naguib.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court Grimwood admitted carrying out the assaults on staff as well as the two thefts.
The 42-year-old, of New Steine Mews, Brighton, was ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the three Morrisons workers.
District Judge Amanda Kelly also ordered Grimwood to complete nine months of drug rehabilitation treatment.
She must complete the rehabilitation with Pavilions in addition to ten rehabilitation days with the probation service.
