A MAN was stabbed in the the back after being approached by two men.
The victim, in his 20s, was in Little Preston Street in Brighton on Friday, May 8 when he was attacked.
Police believe he was stabbed using a broken glass bottle and was taken to hospital. Two suspects ran off towards Western Road.
The first was a white man with short dark hair, of medium build, wearing a grey T-shirt and black shorts. The second wore a baseball cap, a black hooded top, black trousers and black trainers.
Police confirmed a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Anyone who saw what happened is urged to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 1666 of 08/05.
