A TAKEAWAY chain is preparing to reopen its site at a retail park.

The Burger King venue at the Goldstone Retail Park in Hove and will be open from 9am tomorrow.

It will offer “drive thru” service between 9am and 11pm, and home delivery through Deliveroo, 9am-10.45pm, and Just Eat - from noon until 10.45pm.

The Hove branch is one of more than 70 Burger King restaurants to be reopening over the next two weeks.

The fast food giant has then pledged to keep reopening 20 sites each week until all of its 500 UK restaurants are operating.

It is not the only chain to announce a string of stores reopening.

More than 600 of Subway’s 600 UK stores will be open for deliveries from today, including seven Brighton outlets.

McDonalds will also open 30 “drive-thrus” from next Wednesday across the south of the UK and Ireland - though the location of these is unknown.

A total of 15 restaurants will also open across the south of England for delivery only orders tomorrow.

The chain plans to have all of its 900 UK restaurants open by early June.

Several sites have already reopened for delivery, but none of these are in Sussex.
