A driver escaped injury after his car crashed into a lamp-post early today.
He was driving along Elm Grove in Brighton when he crashed at 7am. Part of the road was closed by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service officers while they tended to the vehicle and the man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton by ambulance for a check up.
