A man who died after his car left the road and collided with a tree has been identified.
Simon Bamford, 25, who lives in the Chichester area, was driving a silver Vauxhall in Drayton Lane, Merston, near Chichester, when he crashed at 7.15pm on Saturday.
He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester in a critical condition but died later from his injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call 0845 6070999.
