A CHOREOGRAPHER has been keeping dance addicts fit during lockdown with his fun online classes to 90s club classics.

Richard Tittensor normally teaches Clubbercise at Patcham High School and Portslade Village Centre but is now hosting the rave-style fitness sessions using Facebook Live.

Richard, who has been teaching Clubbercise for five years, said: “The whole concept is doing a fitness class to 90s classics in a nightclub-style environment, but with no heels or hangovers.

“We normally have neon lights and everyone has glow sticks to dance with. The routines are choreographed but they’re simple.

“At first we panicked as the classes are so atmosphere based, but it’s going really well online.

“People are really enjoying it. My classes are even busier now than they were before.”

Richard offers a single class for £3.75 or a 30-day unlimited pass to all classes for £30.

As well as Clubbercise, he teaches a bodyweight toning class called Booty Camp and a cardio martial arts combination class, Combat Core Attack.

He said: “Obviously fitness is really important but the mental health side is too. My classes are for all ages and levels. It’s about having fun and letting your hair down.”
