CHILD sexual exploitation is on the rise in Sussex under lockdown, police say.
More than 90 reports of sexual grooming and abuse of children through prostitution and pornography were filed in April, Sussex Police say.
That is a 40 per cent increase compared with April 2019.
“Abused children are at risk of being invisible during the pandemic,” Crimestoppers regional manager Ruth McNee said.
If you or someone you know may be a victim, call Sussex Police on 101.
