SMALL businesses have lost more than a third of their income as a result of coronavirus.
According to research by the specialist bank Aldermore, the average small business in the South East has seen a 39 per cent drop in revenue.
Thirty per cent of small and medium sizes enterprises (SMEs) in the region have reported a decrease of more than 70 per cent, with ten per cent of businesses claiming the pandemic has damaged their health long term. Fifteen per cent of SMEs have shifted more business online to increase their income.
