Lots of people pull a face at guitar solos - not least axe hero Gary Moore.
The blues-rock legend's concentration during his blistering fretwork displays make him look like an international-standard gurner. But then few guitarists show the skill and passion Moore does.
He's 55, yet plays with the barely-contained excitement of a teenager that's just the right side of showboating.
From the opening one-two punch of Pretty Woman and Hard Times, Moore didn't let up for two hours, leading his three-piece band through a rousing succession of standards and originals.
There were homages to Peter Green - Moore's hero - and John Mayall and nods to his pre-blues career with Thin Lizzy on the exuberant Don't Believe A Word.
The final encore, an all-out version of Parisienne Walkways, brought the sell-out show to a triumphant close.
