FIREFIGHTERS were called to a kitchen blaze at a hospital.
The fire broke out on the second floor of the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath at 8.40 this morning.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said crews from Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and East Sussex had worked to tame the flames.
He said: “The small fire in the second floor kitchen was extinguished quickly by firefighters. They remain at the scene, ventilating the area.”
