A SPECIALIST heart nurse is doing her bit to boost charity after an annual walk was cancelled.
Katherine Moore has walked from Saltdean to Brighton Marina in fancy dress to raise cash.
She has been a cardiac rehabilitation nurse for 30 years,.
But during the current crisis has been sent to the cardiac ward at the Royal Sussex County Hospital to help patients.
Recently she completed the walk for the Sussex Heart Charity.
It works tirelessly to provide defibrillators throughout the community and information to support people with heart problems.
Katherine said: “The charity has provided so much over the years so we wanted to say thank you, dress up and raise funds to go towards projects to help patients during this difficult time.”
The charity’s annual walk from the marina to Hove Peace Statue and back was cancelled because of coronavirus.
