A DRIVER believed to have travelled nearly 190 miles to North Wales has been arrested after his car became stuck on rocks.

The Wrexham Rural policing team tweeted that they suspected the driver, who had journeyed to the Glyn Ceiriog area from the east coast of England, was under the influence of drugs.

They posted images of his blue Ford, which ended up perched on a pile of loose rocks, on social media on Monday (May 25).

NWP Wrexham Rural tweeted: "Officers have just arrested a male who had apparently driven to the Glyn Valley from the east coast, a journey of nearly 190miles.

"Suspected to be under the influence of drugs and his parking leaves a lot to be desired."
