POLICE were called to reports of a fight between a group of men on motorbikes.
Officers attended High Street in Eastbourne on Saturday but the group had gone by the time they arrived.
Several bikers were stopped in the area as police investigated the incident but the force said there was “no evidence to connect them with any offence”.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “At 3.34pm on Saturday, May 23, police responded to a report of fighting between a number of men on motorcycles in High Street, Eastbourne.
“Officers arrived within six minutes but anyone involved had dispersed.
“The area was searched and several men on motorcycles were stopped nearby but there was no evidence to connect them with any offence.”
