A CYCLIST suffered “life-changing injuries” after a crash.

Emergency services were called to Kingston Lane in Shoreham after the accident on the afternoon of May 26.

A 50-year-old man from Shoreham rode the bike, and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment. He remained there on Friday.

An 80-year-old man from Steyning drove a Land Rover Discovery involved in the collision, but was not hurt.

The road reopened shortly after 9pm. Witnesses are asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting Operation Elmsted.
