A MOTORIST failed to stop after causing damage in a crash.
Ben King was driving a BMW involved in a collision in Sillwood Street, Brighton, earlier this month.
The 29-year-old, of Wivelsfield Road, Haywards Heath, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court and admitted the offence as well as driving while banned and breaching a suspended sentence.
He was given a 12-week suspended prison sentence.
The court also ordered him to pay a £50 fine for breaching the suspended sentence imposed in January for an assault.
King was banned from driving for 18 months, and must pay a £128 surcharge.
