Police were called to the A259 near Exceat to a crash involving a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old
A TEENAGER has died and another has been injured in a car crash.
Police were called to the A259 between East Dean and Exceat at 9.25pm on Saturday after a grey Toyota Aygo was involved in a collision.
The 17-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger, an 18-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
A Sussex Police spokesman described the incident as a “single vehicle collision”.
He said: “If anyone witnessed the collision or has any dash cam footage of the car prior please report online or call 101 quoting Operation Kingshill.”
