A PROJECT has been launched to help carers with their physical and mental health during the coronavirus crisis.

Culture Shift in Lewes was commissioned by East Sussex County Council to deliver Carers O’Clock, a scheme with resources for carers and a virtual cafe meeting every fortnight.

Director Julia Roberts said: “In East Sussex, one in ten people care for someone and the pressure can be enormous. Carers O’Clock is designed to support people during these very challenging times and we’d like carers everywhere to get involved.”
