I am led to believe that a petition is currently going round to reduce Hollingbury Golf Club to nine holes.
Since Waterhall was rewilded earlier this year it has become a dumping ground for dog waste litter bags and rubbish from the picnic brigade.
What little wild life is left is no doubt suffering from the harmful effects of this.
Hollingbury, during the virus lockdown, is showing some signs of this due to the influx of the general public, but now the golfers are back, normality should return.
Rewilders leave us golfers in peace and head off to Waterhall and clear up your mess, literally.
